how bad is frozen food?

HOW BAD IS FROZEN FOOD?

In Eric Schlosser’s article called “behind the counter” one of the problems with Mc Donald’s fast

food restaurant is that the food they give is frozen food. That means the food is unhealthy. Besides that

there are twenty one Mc Donald’s just in Colorado springs according to article and these restaurants, no

matter their food is healthy or unhealthy, try to get more customers by looking more attractive and

pretending like their food is the best. That problem looks as a small detail in the article, but in fact it is

the most important one. In deed, Mc Donald’s is certainly not healthy, but we eat it a lot because it

appeals to us and it is almost everywhere we go.

While Mr.Schlosser describes in his article Elisa’s work in Mc Donald’s he releases the fact that the

food she was preparing was frozen ; “they step into the big freezer and get the frozen bacon, the

frozen pancakes, and the frozen cinnamon rolls. They get the frozen hash browns, the frozen biscuits,

the frozen Mcmuffin.” So, from that statement we all should understand that the food you eat in Mc

Donald’s is not a real food ,it is unnatural, fatty and full of chemicals; that means you don’t get any

proteins and enough nutrition from it. The only thing you get from this kind of food is illness. That’s

basically it!. Besides that Mr.Schlosser emphasizes the attraction of Mc Donald’s to people by saying

that “they build large signs to attract motorists and look at cars the way predators view herds of prey”.

So, Mc Donald’s doesn’t really care about your health ,they just want to sell you the food and they do

anything to get your attention and make you buy their food.

When I was a kid, whenever I ate McDonald’s ,I always felt my stomach so full, but two hours later

I became very hungry again. I used to wonder why was that ? Then My sister told me that it was all fat,

not food that i was eating; it doesn’t count as a food, it just waste of money. Then i never ate Mc

Donald’s, unless I really have to. One of my friends used to laugh at me because I never ate Mc Donald’s

as much as he ate. He used to drink coke every single day and eat hamburger three times a week. He

used to defend himself by saying “ if Americans eat it all the time then it can’t be unhealthy” He didn’t

know that Americans, also, were having trouble because of eating fast food too much. Now, he lives in

Texas and he gets sick very often, and I don’t. That must explain something!

A solution to this problem is learning to eat fresh food and vegetables. Even though fresh

vegetable commercials are not on TV all the time as much as fast food commercials or even if you

haven’t seen a real potato or broccoli in your life, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t eat them; you have to

eat them to be a healthy person and be able to live longer. Not everything you see all the time is right,

you have to read a lot and be curious about everything to find out the best for you. If I had unlimited

connections, I would make a program on TV to introduce healthy food to people.

in this article ,i see that Americans are fat and eating fries; even our governers. " Missisipi has the highest obesity rate in nation.Gov.Haley Barbaour admits he struggles with weight."
Also ,"Hines, who presents the Missisipi River town of the Greenville says his mother makes fewer fried foods and more green vegetables for sunday dinners and his family is fully behind his new fitness plan," my daughter said i am getting sexier by the day" . So,think of the future of our millions of children who are eating Mc Donald's' fired food all the time. This article is just one of them. There are many more articles which also explains the dangerous of being fat.

is Mc Donald disappearing?

Mc Donald is a huge fast food restaurant chain in the US and all over the world. It was founded in 1940 in California. The Founder of this chain is Ray Kroc. There are still millions of people eating Mc Donalds today. How did Mc Donald attract people’s attention? How could it be so popular like this? Has McDonald ever changed during the time?.Does the brand Mc Donald have anything to do with the brand Walt Disney?

Mr.Schosser Eric describes the popularity of Mc Donald with the words captured my attention like; ‘hamburger University’, ‘Mc Donald’s Language’ ‘Degree in Hamburgerology’ ‘Mc Donald’s culture’…. The way people presented Mc Donald is so influential that it sounds so much fun and you just want to be part of it. It is like being in a magical place that you never want to leave it for a minute, just like being in Walt Disney. According to Schosser Eric; Mr. Walt Disney and Mc Donald were born in the same place ,Illinois and grow up together. Thus, Mc Donald hasn’t been alone in the entertainment business since 1940s. Mc Donald has been sharing the same philosophy with Walt Disney .They both became part of American culture and the symbol of the powerful imagination and positivism.

I haven’t been to Walt Disney ,but I have been to Mc Donalds. Two days ago, I went to a Mc Donald fast food restaurant. I just bought a coke (huge cup of it) and watched what was going on in the restaurant. A homeless person was sleeping on the one of the chairs and there were some high school students who were talking to each other with inappropriate words. They were so loud that i didn’t even want to sit there for another minute. The chair I was sitting on was so uncomfortable and the table was dirty, kind of oily. There were huge garbage boxes close to the entrance which were full , and people were just throwing their garbage over it. May be some of the other Mc Donald restaurants are cleaner ,but that was the one in the middle of the city, and it was with a sleeping homeless in, full of loud people and spilled out garbage around .Apparently ,Mc Donald is not as it used to be. It was fun to have a huge cup of coke , to be welcomed by a smiling cashier and seeing the attractive colors around ,just like Mr.Schosser Eric mentions about them as the signature of Mc Donald restaurants ,but these are not enough to be a good fast food restaurant in nowadays.

Mc Donald’s 1940s,1950s,…..1990s powerful image is changing. A Mc Donald with gorgeous colors, shining floor, amazing , original decoration, with happy people around can barely be seen in these days.. When you go to a Mc Donald now you see different scenes . There are many fast food restaurants now even better than it. People, like me, are going safer, cleaner and quiet places.
